Turning our designs into InDesign files

The next session saw us move to The Lofthouse in Hockley, a space for Nottingham's art community to come and make things happen. They host band nights, a radio station and workshops as well as housing three macs which each have creative suite on them and are available for people to book to use.

We visited to have our own introduction to InDesign session ran by Illuminate member Callum Mulligan.

Callum showed us how to set up a new file,  create lines, shapes and add and change colour before setting us off on our adventure to turn our paper designs into a graphic file. Callum was on hand to answer questions and help out, and although it was slow going with a few technical hitches we all manged to come up with a pretty good rendering of our ideas.
